[MADINA]OTINIBI HILLS DEMONSTRATE AGAINST MINISTRY OF DEFENSE AND MARKINS HILLS LTD.

Otinibi hills residents have demonstrated against the 48 engineers solders and the ministry of defense who have been contracted by the Markins Hills ltd to fence about 400 archers of land at the Otinibi Hills community which is already in uses by the residence of the Otinibi hills.
Speaking on behave of the community Kwasi Adarkwa in a press conference explained that a community of about 200 people with 60 property owners has acquired their pieces of land from Adjei Kwei Dzamansah and Okantsuru Dzan Families respectively and search have been done at the lands commission and the search only shows the appropriate owners as  the families mentioned about.
The added that many of their members have developed their lands to various levels and some are occupying them as residences.
Unfortunately, Markins hills ltd. Is claiming ownership of the  and have contracted the ministry of defense to fence the property which the Otinibi Hills residents are using.
The residents are agitating that, the presence of the 48 engineers in the community is treating them.
They are therefore calling on the ministry of defense and government to be fair to them and ask Markins Hills Ltd. Withdraw the military men in the community.
Most of the residence cried for help from the government saying they have nowhere to go if the government allows Markins to take over their lands unlawfully.
